WakeMed Names Kathey Jones as Administrative Director of Imaging Services
RALEIGH, N.C. - WakeMed Health & Hospitals is pleased to announce that Kathey Jones, MHA, RT(R), has been named administrative director of imaging services. As director, Jones will oversee the operations of all imaging services modalities for the WakeMed Raleigh Campus, WakeMed North Healthplex, WakeMed Brier Creek and WakeMed Clayton Medical Parks, WakeMed Mobile MRI and the future WakeMed East Healthplex site.

Jones joined WakeMed in 1990 as a diagnostic supervisor and in 1991, assisted with the introduction of radiology services at WakeMed�s new Cary Hospital (then known as Western Wake), where she managed the Radiology Services department. Jones then moved back to the Raleigh Campus in 1998 as business manager and most recently served as clinical operations manager of ambulatory imaging services.
Jones holds a Certification in Radiologic Technology from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Pre-Medical Education from East Carolina University, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiologic Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Health Administration from Pfeiffer University.
