The Volunteers at WakeMed Raleigh Campus

All of you who attended our Fall Awards Luncheon received a copy of the outgoing President Rosemary Kennys excellent comprehensive end-of the fiscal year report. If you were not able to attend, ask for a copy in the Volunteer Services office. The Volunteers have many worthwhile projects and ways to raise and spend money. I would like to ask that every active volunteer be on the lookout for needs the Volunteer Board may not be aware of in your service area. If there are additional ways The Volunteers can be of service, either through time spent or dollars donated, please feel free to bring it to the attention of a Volunteer board member or the Volunteer Services Staff. There is a formal grant request process when a hospital department requests funds for a special service or purchase. If we Volunteers all participate in this process, it will help us help WakeMed in its mission of patient welfare and satisfaction.

Sincerely,
Charlotte Luke
