Since our last newsletter, the Volunteers have held a very successful uniform sale, netting a profit of $7,854 and a compression garment/hosiery sale netting $344. Employee response to the sale has led us to plan a second uniform sale this year to replace one of our two annual jewelry sales that fund our many projects.
Later this month you will be receiving annual job placement evaluations and surveys from the Volunteer office. Please fill them out and return them in a timely manner so the staff can access information regarding the volunteer training processes and in doing so, better serve the needs of the volunteers.
Also, it is time to select three new volunteer board members to replace those whose term of office will expire this fall. You will be getting ballots for the election in the mail.
National Volunteer Week comes in April, and we will be celebrating and recognizing all our wonderful volunteers at our Annual Spring Luncheon on Monday, April 23 at the North Ridge Country Club. Please make plans to join us your invitation will be in the mail soon.
