Our Staff

The WakeMed Pediatric Diabetes Program offers comprehensive management, education and support, helping children learn to live with diabetes.  Our team serves as a link for diabetes care between families, schools and their physician.  We have a dedicated pediatric diabetes management staff, which includes pediatricians, certified diabetes educators, registered nurses and registered dietitians, along with a counselor and interpreter.  Our team members work together to provide families and patients with state-of-the-art diabetes care, as well as assistance in obtaining the necessary resources to successfully manage this disease.
