Septal hematomaDefinition: A septal hematoma is a bruise or bleeding in a septum. A septum is a wall that separates�2 tissue masses in an organ, or 2 cavities in an organ.�The wall separating the chambers of the heart is a septum. The septum of the nose separates the 2 nostrils.
