Are you more confident when you know where things are located on your hospital campus? Whether you are a seasoned� volunteer or new� to our family, tours are being offered to familiarize you with the campus so you are more comfortable assisting our patients, families and other customers when offering directions to departments and portals of entry/exit, and when giving information regarding our services.
Once you have gained this level of experience, we would like for you to share your knowledge and comfort level with other volunteers. Tours are not offered on the same day as orientations because of the length of our orientations.
Tours for volunteers have been developed in response to the orientation evaluations and have been met with extremely positive feedback! We are recruiting volunteers who are able to share one and a half hours, once a month or once a quarter, to assist with leading tours. Day and afternoon tour groups meet in the Volunteer Services office. Evening tour groups meet in the Visitor Lobby inside of the Main Entrance. To register for a tour, please call us at 919-350-8293.
