Urban Ministry CPE Extended Session

The Urban Ministry CPE Extended Session is a program designed to be flexible for students.  We make every effort to schedule meeting times that work for both student and supervisors, and we will do our best to accomodate your schedule.

Meetings:

• Case Conference Seminar
• Interpersonal & Professional Relationships (IPR)
• Didactics

Individual Supervision

• Every week at a time that fits for student and supervisor

Urban Ministry Site

• Site placement is decided using available sites, interest of students, and hours available both for site and student
• Student spends 10 hours weekly serving the persons/staff at the site
• Coordinator site visits

Written Work includes:

• Learning Contract
• Verbatim every other week
• Weekly process notes
• Weekly visitation reports
• Mid-Unit Evaluation
• Reading Reports negotiated with supervisor
• Final Evaluation

On-Call that require a 24-hour stay in the hospital

• One per month
• Paid $150

Fees Include:

• Application fee - $10 (payable to WakeMed Department of Spiritual Care)
• Student Assessment fee - $70 (Payable to Mid-Atlantic Region ACPE)
• Tuition - $300 (Payable to WakeMed Department of Spiritual Care)
