WakeMed Receives NC Awards for Excellence Commitment Award
Raleigh, NC - WakeMed has been awarded the North Carolina Awards for Excellence (NCAfE) Level 2 Commitment Award that the organization applied for in 2005. The award follows a two-day site visit from state examiners in mid-April.
The NCAfE Level 2 Commitment Award is given to organizations that have demonstrated, through their commitment to and implementation of performance management principles, progress in building sound and notable processes. The award recognizes WakeMed's solid approach to system-level performance management and demonstrates our dedication to continuous quality improvement.
The NCAfE program is based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria, and is the only State of North Carolina award for performance excellence. It is an assessment and award process that helps organizations assess their performance as they progress toward performance excellence.
