WakeMed and YMCA
WakeMed is proud to be the official health care partner of the YMCA of the Triangle. WakeMed and the YMCA have been working together for years to bring quality health programs to the community. And as the official health care partner of the YMCA of the Triangle, we'll be bringing even more fitness, wellness and education programs into the Wake County communities served by YMCAs.
WakeMed is now on-site at the Cary Family YMCA, A.E. Finley YMCA in North Raleigh and Banks D. Kerr Family YMCA in Northeast Raleigh providing physical and occupational rehabilitation, health screenings and educational classes. WakeMed will also occupy space in the Central YMCA in downtown Raleigh and Southwest Wake YMCA in Apex after construction of these new facilities is complete.
In addition to rehabilitation services, program elements will include health fairs for families, blood pressure control and diabetes education seminars, nutrition instruction, medically directed fitness components and sports health/injury seminars. YMCA members, WakeMed patients and community citizens will all be invited to take advantage of the many new services offered through this alliance at the convenient, readily accessible YMCA locations listed below.
