August 11, 2004  New Update - Clinical Chemistry and Hematology Panel

 Several changes in the menu of test panels offered by the WakeMed Pathology Laboratories will occur on September 1, 2004.  These changes are part of an effort to standardize the terminology and components of our test panels and to bring them into accordance with AMA Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Current Procedural Terminology (CPT).  We expect this to result in more efficient test ordering.  Click here for details.
 
 May 4, 2004   Standardization of Reference Ranges 

The clinical laboratory will be making a few significant changes in reference ranges. Instrumentation changes and standardization across the multi-hospital system has prompted this update. These ranges are scheduled to take effect May 4, 2004. Click here for test details.
