Why does it get harder to lose weight with age?

Answer:

The metabolism slows with age so fewer calories may be burned. Exercise (staying active) and eating sensibly (fewer sweets and fats) are the best way to counter the slowdown of your metabolism. See physical activity and intentional weight loss.
