WakeMed Speakers Bureau

The WakeMed Speakers Bureau is a valuable resource for local civic, business, religious and social organizations.  We provide speakers in response to requests for health-related presentations. 

If your group is interested in having a WakeMed health professional speak at your next meeting, please call WakeMed Public Relations at 350-5405.  We will need the following information in order to prepare our speaker for his/her presentation:

• your organization's name and description (civic/business/religious/social)
• the date, time and location of the event (a 30 day notice is required)
• the event theme (if applicable)
• the presentation topic requested (please have a first and second choice)
• a contact person, along with a telephone number and mailing address

A representative from Public Relations will contact you to confirm the speaking engagement details.  We request a 24-hour notice if your event is cancelled and you no longer need a speaker.

The WakeMed Speakers Bureau is a service provided to our community at no charge.
