Managed Care Contracts

WakeMed contracts with a wide variety of managed care plans and insurance companies. Below is a list of those plans currently accepted at all of WakeMed's facilities. In addition, WakeMed generally accepts traditional health insurance plans.

By selecting one of these managed care plans, you can be sure you and your family have access to WakeMed, the health care system that offers you the most comprehensive medical services available in Wake County.

If you have questions related to your insurance plan, we encourage you to call the CareLine at 919-350-2273.  The CareLine is a central resource for any insurance verification and preauthorization issues.  The hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
