Indications - Liposuction

Liposuction is performed on patients who: are in good overall physical health have a normal weight are psychologically healthy are bothered by pockets of fat that remain despite diet and exercise programs (common locations for such fat deposits are the hips and lower abdomen) Liposuction should not be used to treat obesity. It is best performed in patients who are close to their ideal weight, but have persistent, localized fat deposits.
